WORLD AIDS DAY - 1st DEC 2009

Dr Constantinos N Phellas (Executive Director of RUBSI) has been invited by the University of Nicosia’s Students Affairs Office to give a speech on HIV & AIDS in Cyprus. The event took place at the UNESCO Theatre (University of Nicosia) on the 1st December, 2009.
Dr Phellas’ presentation mainly focused on his research amongst people living with HIV & AIDS today in Cyprus as well as presenting the latest epidemiological figures on HIV & AIDS (both locally and internationally). The event proved to be very successful and was well-attended by both staff and students respectively.
